Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. We are actively credentialing with multiple insurance plans. As each plan is approved, we will update our website with the details. We are currently in-network with Aetna and Straight Medicaid. Until additional plans are active, all other visits are available on a self-pay basis.
What conditions do you treat?
We treat a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and substance use disorders, as well as Hepatitis C, HIV (PrEP/PEP), and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
Is my care confidential?
Yes. Your privacy is our top priority. All services are delivered in a secure, confidential, and judgment-free environment.
What happens at my first appointment?
Your first visit will include a comprehensive evaluation where we review your history, current concerns, and goals. Together, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan, which may include therapy, medications, or both. If medication is appropriate, we’ll discuss options in detail and can often begin treatment at your first visit.
Can family be involved in my care?
Yes. With your permission, family members or support persons may be involved in your care planning.
What if I need counseling or therapy?
While Detroit Integrated Care focuses on psychiatric evaluations and medication management, we can connect you with trusted therapy and counseling providers for additional support.
